I do this by using the Fn + F3 - F6 buttons. I have also tried doing it manually via Windows power settings.</P><P><SPAN style="line-height: 18px;">&nbsp;</SPAN></P><P><SPAN style="line-height: 18px;">After a short while (it varies), but usually no longer than 10 mins, both reset themselves to 100%.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN style="line-height: 18px;">&nbsp;</SPAN></P><P><SPAN style="line-height: 18px;">The machine came with Windows 8, and was upgraded to Windows 8.1. The problem was the same under both operating systems. I have turned off adaptive brightness. I have the latest BIOS update from March 2013. I have tried to update all the relevant drivers. Still I cannot find a solution.
