Loss of wifi

Upgraded my VGN-NW20ZF from Windows 7 Home to Windows 8 Pro using M/Soft download. This has resulted in loss of Wifi.Suggestions please.?????

try re-starting your computer at an earlier time(before installing w8) and simultaneously contact support w8 for help or refund.

Hi BORISVW,

Your model is not yet supported by Sony for upgrading to Windows 8 and there are no drivers available on the Support site.

Have you tried installing the available Windows 7 drivers and utilities – in particular the updated Wireless LAN driver?

I have no idea whether these will install under Win 8 or indeed work, but it is worth a try...

In any event a clean install is not supported, only a migration during which you must opt to retain drivers, utilities and applications from the Win 7 OS. I doubt that this model will ever be fully supported by Sony for a Win 8 upgrade.
