Poor quality of webcam. Any help to improve?

Hi Rich912

I bought Vaio 15 E series just few days before but I am not happy with it's camera. It works but the picture it takes is not coloured. Quality is very poor like VGA camera however it's configuration says that it is 1.3MP but I don't think so. I have tried some setting it does not make any difference. I am not happy with it so, I want to return it. I would like to buy Dell Inspiron rather keeping this.

Any suggestions?

Hi RJSingh,

Assuming that you have experimented with camera settings within ArcSoft Web Companion, or whatever camera software is installed on this machine, and all available updates are installed I suggest that you call into your local Sony Centre to check the camera quality on the same or similar model.

Have you contacted Support as they may possibly have a solution?
