Hi,

I'm having some trouble with the wireless network connection on my Vaio VPCF23P1E. Each time I use my computer I experience one of two different problems with the wifi connection, without apparent reason. Either I just loose Internet connection while it seems I'm still connected to the wireless network. Or, less frequently, I loose all wifi connection. I sometimes get an error message pertaining to the Atheros adapter. Usually i can reconnect to the Internet by disconnecting from the network and reconnecting again (which is quite tedious when I have to do it for the umteentht time), but more rarely the computer can't even detect any networks, and I have to restart the whole computer.

I've checked for new drivers for the Atheros wireless network adapter, but they are apparently up-to-date. I'm beginning to think that there might be some kind of hardware malfunction, due to the erratic nature of the problem. Also, I've tried looking for solutions here on the forums and elsewhere, but to no awail. Any advice would be very much appreciated!

/Ricard
