topic Sony recovery utility files for FE41M in PCs & Accessories https://community.sony.dk/t5/pcs-accessories/sony-recovery-utility-files-for-fe41m/m-p/207330#M43519 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>Does anyone know where the Sony Recovery Utility files are stored on the C drive#</P><P></P><P>For some reason I cant make a copy of recovery discs from my laptop (FE41M) since my computer keeps saying "Not recognised as a Sony Vaio computer" each time i try and run the recovery utility</P><P></P><P>Since i didnt burn a set of recovery discs i am know trying to work out where they reside on the C drive (or other) since the Sony Recovery Utility tool doesnt work ie software wont load up the recovery wizard</P><P></P><P>I basically want to extract the recovery software onto a dvd so that I can perform a full system recovery</P><P></P><P>As said before the recovery tool doesnt work under normal Windows or when in safe mode</P><P></P><P>My laptop is running Vista and is a 2005/6 model</P><P></P><P>Hope this makes sense and any assistance is appreciated</P><P></P><P>Oh and before someone says why dont i contact Sony support and order a set of recovery dvds i have tried over the past two weeks and got nowhere!
