P11Z/Q Anywair not working

Hi I have recently bought a used P11Z/Q running W7 but the Anywair doesnt work at all. I installed my Orange Dongle SIM card but all I get is a long blank bar on the screen which I think is supposed to be the signal strength etc readout.

I've tried the Sony help which was just a joke !. It seems their idea of support is for the Communitity to do everything for them. Sort of we-do-it-ourselves !. I tried downloading their WWAN Driver but this wanted the original disks for some reason so once again I was foiled !. So any help would be appreciated otherwise this item will be heading back to Ebay from whence it came ! Pity really as its exactly what I needed when out on the road.

Hi Steven,

This model was released with Vista installed - so presumablythe previous owner has installed Windows 7 and may have not reinstalled all the drivers. Only some new Windows 7 drivers have been released by Sony and where there is no new driver, the old Vista Driver needs to be installed.

Try installing these Vista drivers: -

1. Wireless WAN Driver

2. WWAN Connection Manager (Generic)
