Overall, I've been happy with the laptop apart from the fact that I'm unable to burn CD-R or CD-RW discs from it. DVD's burn okay most of the time, and it worked fine on the 32-bit Vista that came with the laptop (seriously, Sony, what's the point of pre-installing a 32-bit operating system on a 64-bit machine with 4GB of RAM?).</P><P></P><P>I did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and have tried burning CD-R and CD-RW discs using Windows, Media Player and Nero 10 - every time it's a new coaster.
