Windows 8 Pro installation on VPCJ2

Greetings, I inadvertently installed Windows 8 Pro on my Windows 7 all-in-one pc back in October before I knew that a VAIO Windows 8 Upgrade was available. On the whole my pc seems to be working fine but some applications no longer work at all, for example the Web button, and I'm wondering whether I should attempt an uninstall of Windows 8 Pro and then install the VIAO W8 Upgrade before reinstalling W8 Pro. Any thoughts gratefully received.

Hi Gary,

Your model is fully supported for upgrade to Windows 8 but assuming you carried out a clean install of Windows 8 you will need to return the notebook to factory settings before upgrading as only a migration is supported by Sony.
