Hi the Wi-Fi on the TV works fine for a while connecting to the internet and home network, after a while it stops although diags has IP and connected. Works sloooowly until I reboot router, then all OK for a while. Thing is ps3, skybox, bravia home theatre and nexus all still work great. It must be TV, did same thing with older router too. Any ideas please?

When it does this (drops/works slowly), how many bars does it display for reception? If its only 1 or 2 bars, then the signal is rather weak for it to work properly.

worth noting as above, is the router in the same room?, if its in another that wont help matters, as far as Sony tv's go its not as strong as the other equipment for recieving signal

Hi thanks for reply, WiFi strength full, router 6-8 feet. As before its only the bravia that exhibits this behaviour, so must be the TV. Have changed channels, tried extending dhcp lease lowered the WiFi to only 130mb. still same problem?

Hi there

If the router is only a few feet away in the same room - it might be best to use an ethernet cable instead anyhow. Gives a much more consistent performance. There's almost an infinite reason why wifi drop-out and can be hard to diagnose the cause.
