red light on tv

i was recently watching netflix on my sony KDL-42W653A tv and the tv went off and a red light came on at the bottom of the sense bar but then the tv came stright back on again.

is this anything to worry about ??

Hi there

Sounds like the TV crashing. Nothing to worry about. Every now and then, like a PC, it will crash. However they should be few and far between. So if it happens often (or at a particular point), then theres something wrong. If the TV doesnt turn on, and the red light blinks (in a set pattern), then this normally is a hardware fault.
