Is it possible to watch application services e.g I player, or netflix and record live TV? I tried today and it said recording wasn't available in the 'mode' I was in. Really disappointing if this is the case? Model: KDL42W653

Hi there

I cant confirm (as I dont have this TV), but I would have thought you could. Simply because you are not using the TV's freeview tuner (as its in-use the recording). So I cant see why you couldnt.

Maybe another forum member can confirm/deny?
