Looks like it's going to be an amazing TV if you are only bothered about 2D performance. However if you are a 3D fan, then this TV might not be the best option as Sony have decided to implement Active 3D on this TV, rather than the better Passive 3D that was on last years X9005A. Don't really understand why Sony have done this.

I'm hopeful that at CES 2015, we will see a full array local dimming 4K TV with even better magnetic fluid speakers and full resolution Passive 3D. Here's hoping

This TV looks absolutely fantastic and from the review itself - IS Fantastic :smileywin:. Yes the 3D - but woopdy do, I doubt many watch 3D regularly anyhow.
