topic HDMI switch on in Other TVs

HDMI switch on

Before if I press the power button on my youview or sky remote the tv would switch on based on the hdmi connection. However i have noticed this stopped working. Now I have to switch the tv on and then power the set up box using the remote.

The ps3 switches the tv when pressing the ps button on the pad.

Any idea how I fix the issue?

Hi there

If it was working until recently, there should be no reason why it should stop, unless you have made some changes?

I guess, lets start with the most simplest solution first, and work upwards. Can you turn OFF all equipment from the powerpoint on the wall, leave for approx 2 mins, and switch it on again.

If that didnt work, ensure that you have Bravia Sync set to ON

If that doesnt work, please reply back with your exact TV Model number

This is fixed now. Theres a sub option which needs to be switched on within the bravia sync menu, its called auto tv on. Maybe I had to update my tv x2 and this new option appeared since it last worked.
