MDR-1RBT and KDL-50w828 work together? (same as -829 in UK)

Hello, I'm trying to connect my bluetooth headphones (MDR-1RBT) to my TV (KDL-50w828). It seems the TV doesn't find the bluetooth headphones when trying to add Bluetooth device. Am I trying something that is not possible? One would think as both are Sony prestige line they would work together but maybe not.

Hi there

Unfortunately you are trying to do the impossible. Only Bluetooth mice are supported on the TV. You will either need to connect the headphones to the headphone socket on the TV, or use a wireless set with a base station.
