Need Assitance in updating firmware for Sony Bravia KDL-42W650A

Hi, I need assistance in updating hte firmware for sony KDL-42W650A. I followed all the steps mentioned in the link http://www.sony.co.in/support/download/591602/product/kdl-42w650a but when i copy the file in the USB (completely empty) it gives me an error "No applicable update data was found". I'm using MAC laptop. Please help. Thanks, Nitesh

HI there

Can you ensure that you have followed the instructions "to the letter". Such as:

Unzip the sony_tvupdate_2013_4451_gaa_auth.zip file.
A folder sony_dtv0FA30A05A0A5_00002201 will be created in your local drive after being unzipped. Please copy the folder to the root of your USB device.
