kd55x9005b hdmi ps4 question

Hi,

i am not to sure as to which is the best port to connect upn my ps4 to on the kd55x9005b, i know it works on all ports but are there differences on the hdmi ports as they have different labeling etc

Hi there

All 4 HDMI ports are suitable for the PS4. Its just sometimes certain 'other' equipment must be on a certain HDMI port. For example and external audio system like an AV Reciever that needs to use the ARC, needs to be on HDMI 1.

In the case of your PS4 - all HDMI ports are the same, not 1 is better or worse than the other.

HDMI 1 = HDMI + ARC (Audio Return Channel) - Any Device, but if ARC required, must use this

HDMI 2 = HDMI + MHL (Mobile High Definition Link) - Any Device, but if MHL (phones/tablets) must use this.

HDMI 3 = HDMI - Any Device

HDMI 4 = HDMI + MHL (Mobile High Definition Link) - Any Device, but if MHL (phones/tablets) must use this.
