New cat on the block.

Why can't I connect my iPad or iPhone to my new tv?

Other smart phone "Samsung" can connect.

Hi there

You should be able to use Wifi Direct. See the links in the following thread:

However, if your trying to "mirror" using Airplay, this will no work, see:

Thanks for the info.

When I connect the tv with my iPad I lose the connection with the wireless hub and so can't sent the info to the tv.

Try using an app called iMediaShare.

Im also a bit "blind" on this topic im afraid, as I dont have an iPhone or similar to expertiment with. But I have heard that iMediaShare is the way to go - probably should have mentioned it in my first reply

Hi, thanks again for the info. I tried the Imediashare but it couldn't do all the things I wanted like watch catchup stv. I am going to opt for one of those little apple boxes, I am told that will do the trick.
