TV shuts down

Greetings. I have a KDL55-W829B tv which this morning shut down leaving the lamp at the bottom of the screen flashing red 3x times as soon as I switched on my Sky HD box. I’ve tried changing the HDMI port on the tv, the HDMI lead itself and another Skybox! Any comments would be appreciated.

Hi @nack602

I suspect that you TV has developed a hardware fault. Red x3 indicates Main Board or Power Supply Board. I would contact Sony Support to discuss your options.
