KD-49XG8196 - Screen flickering

Hi,

Looking for some help here.
I have a KD-49XG8196 and its developed this wierd fault. The whole screen flickers every 3 seconds continually. Along with this when the flickering is happening there are about 4 black lines along the bottom of the screen. This happens without any hdmi and with hdmi. I have done factory reset but no joy.

Anyone have any ideas what this might be and is it repairable or fixable?

Thanks for asking.
I took it to a repair service and they told me it was the panel and uneconomical to repair.
