I have a AX700 - the internal mirror lens were knocked out of alignment when I fell over a few months ago - my question is - can the mirror lens be re-aligned if I return camera to Sony for repair or would it be it be more advisable for me to purchase a new camera?
I have several lens which I used with AX700 - does these lens fit most other Sony cams.
Thanks for your help.

I am pretty sure it would be cheaper to buy another camera, you can pick up an a57,a65 for a decent price on ebay, and yes all the lenses you use on your a700 will work on all sony dslr and dslt unless the lens is made for apsc sensor only.thank you
Have you done any search for an independent repairer? I have the A700 and the A77. The A700 is a very good camera and not one I would throw away. When I get an A99, I will still carry the A700. (I also have a Minolta 7D!) All the Minolta and Sony lenses I have can be used on any of the three bodies.
thanks for the info - I have taken your comments on board - Mike
