Low Fps on recording movies with Sony A37

HI, I have a Sony A37

The specifications says it can record movies with a resolution of 1080i at 60FPS

But, when I access the properties of the file generated by the camera, I can see only 29fps on specifications. What´s wrong?

Actually the camera reads out the sensor with 30p (29.97) but then splits each of this frames into two identical fields to generate a standard 60i output, (a technique which is called progressive segmented frame).

There is nothing wrong with your camera.
