I have come across an annoying issue regarding the titles on images taken on my NEX5 and transferred to my PC using PMB.
Images from a recent holiday, taken on the NEX and an older Fuji, were transferred to a common folder and their titles renamed in Windows Explorer from the image numbers allocated by the cameras.
In Windows Explorer the images and titles, irrespective of camera, display quite normally.
Within Windows Media Player 12 all the images taken with the NEX are titled "SONY DSC". The renamed images from the Fuji retain the new names.
Looking at the properties of the NEX images it seems that the camera has, by default, labelled all titles Sony DSC and this is not changed when the image is renamed in Explorer.
Is it possible to stop the NEX from doing this? Then, like the Fuji images, the title will change to be the same as the renamed image.
