I've had a NEX6 for a while and was focus would be faster, as the product description says.
It's still slower than a full DSLR of course, and I wonder if you'd consider a new feature to help with focussing?
For situations where I still need to take photos with very little notice, I need to use manual focus to avoid the chance that the camera will decide to "hunt" for a few seconds trying to find the correct point. This problem applies to DMF as well as AF.
Manual focus would be very much assisted if there was a button one could press to activate autofocus for the duration of the button press - a "one-shot AF." This would be good to help get a ballpark on an area that will not change much and small manual adjustments will do. DMF is not suitable for this because the whole focus process is begun each shot.
Please could this feature be considered?
