Sony nex-7 Remote Camera Control

Hi, I've installed Sony Image Data Suite from the disk that came with the camera and tried using Remote Camera Control program that installed with it. Now when I start it there's a message saying:

Cannot detect the camera. Confirm that the camera is properly connected, and click OK.

I've tried in both USB modes. What am I doing wrong?

Hi fudini

I'm pretty sure IDS only works with the Sony a700 and higher.

It won't recognise your camera as a compatible device, hence the lack of 'connection'.
