Hello there,
I have a continious problem with my alfa slt 55.... The camera is shuting down after 4-5 consecutive wide panarama shots... and could be returned to operational state only after main module replacement in service center. That has happened to me twice already.
Has anybody else had such experience? What can be done to fix it?
Hi pogorv, welcome to the Sony Forums
I've not heard of that exact issue, but many DSLR/T cameras will eventually overheat when used continuously for video, and the sweep pano function basically falls on the 'video' side of the a55 camera operations.
There is a known overheating issue with the a33/a55 when shooting video with SteadyShot enabled. Maybe switch SteadyShot off and see if that helps
Cheers
Mick
Hi Mick!
I know about the issue with overheating while video capture. Camera at least shows that it's going to overheat and stop movie recording to prevent damage.
Here is not the case. No any single indication. Camera just "die" and require main module replacement in service center.
