Android tv restarting every 30 mins
My Bravia TV began to restart evey 30 minutes yesterday evening. I have followed the troubleshooting methods offered by Sony, i.e. turn off timers and sync, and made sure all screensavers etc are not turned on. Even rebooted the tv back to factory but the issues still persists (Not sure if factory reset worked correctly as the recent android update was still installed).
Not sure if this is connected but ever since the most recent firmware the television has behaved differently. When I press Netflix from the button on the remote it continually crashes and i have to turn netflix on via the tv home screen for it to work. Over the last couple of weeks I had also been getting android boot messages when I first turned the television on. This hasn't occured though since the supposed factory reset. The keyboard doesn't pop up either so can't type anything into youtube or web browser etc.
Very annoying. Can anyone offer any advice?
Thanks.

Hi @johnsmalling It sounds like it is time to contact Sony UK Support What is the full model number of your TV?
Edit: Sorry I see that you have already contacted them.

Is there anyway to rollback to android 7.0? The factory reset doesn't reset back to original os.

Hi @johnsmalling Unfortunately there is no way to roll back the OS. A factory reset always goes to the last installed firmware. If you search the forum with "restart" or "30 minutes" you should see that you are not alone. I cannot see any solutions apart from it started to work again! Perhaps try multiple Factory Resets.
