Headphone issue.

Hi all, I am new to this forum so please treat me gently 😊

I have a problem with my Bravia kdl-43w756c tv. I use it sometimes with headphones & when I unplugged them it was stuck in headphone mode with no sound coming out. I can use it with my Sony soundbar but I need to be able to use it normally. I have tried unplugging the power lead but to no avail. Any suggestions will be welcome. Thanks in advance

Hi there

Welcome to the forums :slight_smile:

In regards to your issue:

  1. Ensure that you have the latest firmware installed
  2. If so, please do a factory reset of the tv.  This can fix many issues.  Instructions. HERE

If that doesnt fix the overall problem, can you look at the TVs Sound settings.  If your connecting to a Soundbar, the Speakers should be set to 'Audio System'.  Also make sure that Headphone/Audio Out is set to 'Headphone'.

Cheers

Hi,
I am not sure if your issue is fixed. Pleasesee if this helps

Lately, even i had faced this issue. and i was able to fix it with some trial. Here is what i did;

Steps:

Using your standard remote control press "Home" button;

Press Down arrow button and navigate to "Settings"
Then select "System Settings"
Then select "Set-Up" option using down arrow button.
Press Side button and Down arrow button and select option "AV Set-Up"
Then go to "Headphone/Audio Out" option Press Ok button.
Select "Audio Out" Option.

Done. This should fix your issue as soon as you select Audio Out option.

Thanks

M
