1. Movies from my library with freeze during playback and screen goes black. I then have to go back to the home screen and resume playing the movie again.
2. The picture randomly freezes for a few seconds while the audio continues, the picture then catches up again with the audio a few seconds later.
3. Some animated movies are constantly stuttering and are basically unwatchable.
4. If you fast forward or rewind a movie the picture will often freeze up for a few seconds when I resume play.
5. Movies with Dolby Vision available are not recognised, so instead of the 3 Dolby Vision picture options, only the regular picture options are available, like Standard / Cinema etc.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues with this TV?
I have carried out endless troubleshooting to try and fix these issues.
If I watch movies from Amazon Prime, SKY NOW or Apple TV - all these apps work absolutely perfectly.

How do you access your library:via usb or lan? Which encoder did you use to copy your Blu-rays?
Thanks for responding. Im streaming my movies from the Library tab from the Google TV interface directly on the TV.
I do not have a Google TV comparable to your, but in any case where are stored your actual movie files? Sorry but I do not understand if the problem is with your own file or accessing the same movie via "library"rather than let say Prime video...

Yes sorry but I cannot understand from where do they come from... may you post a picture of the library you see and the details shown when you select one for playing... Maybe it can help me help you 
AFAIK library should show movies you bought from Google TV, but I can be wrong

I cannot find a way to answer without raising an error from the community…
try playing the same movies via YouTube they should be available in your account
