KDL-43W756C wireless screen miroring very slow

Hello,

I have a KDL-43W756C TV that also supports wireless screen mirroring.

However if i connect my laptop or phone ( Lumia 950 continum ) the screen miroring is very laggy, and not usable.

Is there anything that i can do to fix this ?

Does anyone else has the same problem ?

Thank you very much for your time

Sebastian

reading back in this forum, this is a problem with the sony tvs for
multiple years now. the issue is the mirror cast establishes, yes
there's lag, but that's not really the issue, the trouble is the screen
freezes for about a second every 20 seconds or so, enough to make it
unwatchable. people in this group have been complaining of this issue
going back 4 years or more, I myself have had the issue for 3 years, the
trouble exists with laptops iphones and android devices. I've tried them
all. the common link is the sony tvs. since sony blames other input devices
for their interface issue, I have found a fix on my own.. My new TV is a
Samsung, it works great, Ill be replacing my other sony tv with a Samsung
as well.

Good for you

Got a Sony XBR-65A8G recently and tried out the Screen Mirroring feature using my windows 10 Laptop and encountered the same lag everyone is talking about. It is weird that Chromecasting from a web browser works  better than Miracast. Could it be that Sony ATVs don't have Miracast hardware/services that can handle the miracast protocol.

Also @rooobb could you expand more on the second option you suggested. What do you mean by "set a parameter for the authentication from win10" and "Enabling Simple IP control"

@naija_chinex  simply enable the setting I indicated (still not sure about the translation from Italian)

Setup->network->domestic network->IP control->Simple IP control->enable
