Sony Bravia 8 ii - Power button ?

Hi there, are there any owners here that are able to locate a physical power button for the TV.  Google searches say it's either in the middle or on the side.  However I haven't been able to locate one for this particular model.

All I can do is put it into standy using the remote.  If I press the remote power button for a few seconds, it just restarts the tv.

Hi @r0bsony70   There is no "power" button, just the Standby button. These TVs are designed to be left in Standby and not be stressed by constantly being rebooted from the mains plug.

Which model of Bravia 8 II do you have, it will either be on the white label on the back of the TV or in the Help section of the settings menu on screen.

Go to Section 11 of the diagrams and it shows there is a Power Button at the rear of the TV on the left hand side. It will be very very small.

If you have the 65 inch model K-65XR8M2 the setup guide shows the Power Button in a similar position

although this time under section 13.
