XG9505 HDMI Input Shorting? - (Connected to PC)

Hello

Purchase Date - 10/03/2020

I'm having an unusual problem here, wondering if i should book a repair? hoping i don't need to lol

I i specifically use my TV with my PC and am unsure what would happen if i were to use a DVD player or something.

The TVs been great, but as this is my first TV into 4K and HDR i haven't been sure what to look for.

3 HDMI cables were tested but not all of those were "High Speed"

Does not happen with my old TV (SDR)

Unplugging and plugging in the HDMI cable causes the TV to display no signal until i restart PC.

not sure if below may be a problem, maybe just due HDR on PC? in SDR its blue like normal.

When HDR is active, and if a BSOD happens, it will not be blue but it will have vertical green lines. (still reboots)

Green also appears when changing resolution within games (when HDR is on) (like 1s) not long.

I'm more bothered about the HDMI, i think there's a short in the TV maybe?

Checked all the HDMI inputs also on the TV producing the same result.

When the HDMI is plugged in, its fine. Doing the same to another TV works as expected.

Thanks for any help!

There's a setting called Enhanced formats that needs to be enabled, here's the link for it from the Help Guide: https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/gaep2/v1/en/08-02_30.html

I believe it's primarily for the HDMI 2 and 3 ports, but I could be wrong.
