I have an hdr-cx520 which I used in India last week. It constantly failed after about 30 minutes use whether I was recording to hard drive or memory stick.The symptoms were - video froze while audio recording continued.
I had to keep recovering data - or even reformatting. My hdr-sr12 had no problem so I am not inclined to blame the heat. I was lucky to have that with me so I could continue filming. Any ideas why this is happening?
