SONY DSC HX400v Power Supply

Hi all,

I have just purchased a Sony DSC HX400v after having used a HX300. I used to charge the HX300 and use it to take vides at the same time, however, i cant seem to do the same with the HX400v.

Is there a special adapter to use? if so can anyone help me with where to buy it?

Hello and welcome. 

On checking the user guide it would appear that using either the AC-UD10 or AC-UD11 Adaptor could allow you to shoot or review photos when connected to AC power.

I often carry a portable USB Power supply and keep the USB cable plugged into the charging port, whilst taking photos and video. Works well if you don't get tanged up in the cables!
