Bravia 9 Soundbar + SA-RS5

I have a 55A90J tv connected to a Bravia 9 soundbar and SA-RS5 rear speakers, when I turn the tv on the soundbar turns on but not the rears, the rears are not listed in the Bravia connect app until I manually turn them on then they pair with the soundbar and are listed in the app.

Should the rears power up when the soundbar comes on or not ? Have I done something wrong setting them up ?

not sure why the reply above contains links via a URL shorting service but if like me you are concerned with potential risks, analytical tracking, etc I thought I’d reply with a link to the Sony help guide on using your soundbar with the SA-RS5 rear speakers the guide on using also contains a link to explain the setting up process, so you can check your setup, etc, take a look and if you still need some help, post back and hopefully someone will be able to assist you further..
