Hi, I have a trusty HXD 860 HDD which has recently developed a problem.
We recently got BT TV whch has meant disconnecting and then reconnecting aerials from our TV players. When I disconnected the aerial from the HDD I noticed that the cable end was badly corroded. When I tried reconnecting the aerial I now get no TV signal. No programmes are found when I try to retune the player. So, I am unable to record any programmes now.
The aerial cable is connected to an aerial amplifier and all is new. I'm wondering if there is something wrong with the aerial-in connector on the HDD.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi there
Its not clear - but did you replace the aerial cable that was looking corroded? If not, thats the first thing I would try.
Cheers
Yes, it was just the last half inch or so that looked corroded so I snipped this off and made a new connection.
