Unresponsive BVD2100

Hello, I wonder if anyone can help. My BDV- E2100 player is stuck on BT (Bluetooth) even though it can't actually make a bluetooth connection. It doesn't respond to the remote or any function key on the machine, and I can't see the Home screen on the TV. I've tried the usual - unplugged the machine for several minutes but it makes no difference.

There’s a factory reset you can do on page 52:-

Though that’s not much good if you can’t get to that setting 😢

Maybe the remote is not working because of low batteries or some such?

To check this, look at the business end of the remote through the camera on your smartphone, which should make the IR visible. If you don’t see flickering, that’s the problem.
