Hi,
All of a sudden, the keyboard nolonger pops up on the lock screen so I cannot enter my password to unlock my phone.
The box to enter my password is there, with the cursor blinking as usual but the keyboard does not pop up when pressed. When I press the emergency call button, it works like usual by taking me to the emergency call screen with the number-keybaord that I can press.
Things I've tried that haven't worked:
- restarted the device
- restarted in safe mode
- connected it to xperia companion: only software repair is available to click on but it won't let me repair the device without first unlocking the phone.
- connected a pc keyboard and mouse to the device: the mouse works but the keyboard doesn't so I can't manually enter my password into the box
What do I need to do to get the keyboard back or unlock my phone with my password?
