Am using Sony Ericson x10 mini pro. I installed PC companion and PC suite in my laptop. When I connect mobile to laptop I see two option 1.Charge phone 2.Connect USB. I selected Option 2 to connect my mobile to laptop to use internet from mobile.
Through PCSuite and PC Companion am not able to access internet. In PC Suite it shows mobile not connected. Kindly help me:smileysad:

Oh nice it should work, will check today at my home.
What do we call for this feature "connecting mobile to laptop to use internet" any idea?? W810i has but Xperia doesn't, any built in specification W810I has for this?
Ok so I have just uninstalled the PDANet I had on my Netbook and installed the latest version and once again it has all connected fine. The only thing I have noticed when switching my Sim card (with the data plan associated with it) between the X8, X10 and Neo that PDANet wouldn't work until I had signed in to the Android Market with my password. Other than that I am out of ideas.
Suze you mean to say is that "I need to connect to Android market in my mobile then need to connect my mobile to laptop" then only connection builds between the two right?:smileyblush:
When you initially set up your phone you should have created a google account or signed in with an existing one. As long as you have used the Market on your phone since then and haven't swapped sim cards around then you should still be signed in, it was only that I was swapping sim cards between phones that I got asked to sign in again and until I had done that the app wouldn't work.
Got it. I have only one mobile. Yesterday I was facing problem to connect internet in my laptop so couldn't instal 2.5 version PDANet. Today I will try.
Do you have any idea on issues related to hardware? (Laptop)
I don't I'm afraid, I am not a tech expert - I'm not even sure that I am a phone expert either being as I can't help you with your issue
There is no problem in trying right:smileycool:. You are a expert madam so only you have many solutions for customer issues.
If you say yes then i will drop my issues related to PC here. i dont expect any solution but if you have come across then you can help or if you know any forum or website to help on this :smileyblush:. I got immediate prompt reply and solutions from Sony Ericsson experts. So thought you might have idea
Well someone else here may have an answer for you. That's the joy of forums... lots of people coming together with different ideas to help out so maybe someone can chip in with another solution. If I were you I would try re-downloading as you said and see what happens. If you are still having problems then I would maybe start another thread asking the specific question regarding connecting to PDA net. Good luck!
Suze you there?? I have installed PDANet 2.45 64 bit in my laptop and PDANet in mobile as well.
I connected both now problem is I see the icon of PDANet , when I click it and select connect Internet it displays "Please start Pdanet on your phone and select enable USB tether".
I connect to Android market and started PDANet in mobile as well. But its not connecting:smileycry:
you don't have to open the android market at all, if you already installed PDANet on your computer and your phone, just open your app on your phone and start the app on you comptuer
