hello,u will go to settings and click wifi and u will scan wifi network and u r long press on wifi range , u got a messege forget network or modify network u will click modify network and u r tick advance option

u got the ip settings and u will change the option dhcp or static..

Thanks sudharsanan !! That was the option I was actually looking for. Actually I also have samsung and it directly shows the option to put static IP in the wifi setting that I could not find in sony tipo yesterday.

Hi 

I have the same problem.  But my phone isint allowing me to save the static ip option. Should I alter any of the digits in the fields?
