Hi there
Just a quick one,
Is it possible to have the date stamp on images taken with the phone's camera?
I used to have this option on my old phone (HTC TyTN2 WM6.1), but can not find this option on my Pro.
Thank you.
Leona.
open the picture -> press menu -> info and voila

Also check this other Gallery App, it's quite fast

Thank you, I know 'how' to get the date and time info for a picture, but what I would like to do is, print this data on to the photo itself, like digital camera used to do (I seem to notice they don't do this anymore?), is that possible?
you will need an app for that, maybe
Add Watermark
or iWatermark

another user asked this question but i was unable to find any application...
it should automatically add..
the bigger problem is that the pics we click should be in date format..
if you take a screenshot . its in date format like screenshot 2011-01-18
but we have dsc 192
Hi, try eCamera, free app from Android Market.
I also asked the same question but did not get satisfactory reply. This feature should have been added in the software itself, as it was in my old mobile K750i.
aah yes you are that user

i was talking about you only
Yes! I dont get why its not in the software itself, such a simple yet essential feature.
It was indeed in the K750 by default, but also my previous smartphone - HTC Desire (2010)
So, please Sony, consider adding this in the Sony Xperia software.
