Hi,

I am facing this issue recently when I try to click and widgets -> I am getting an message "Unfortunately widgtes has stopped"

I have flashed the mobile using Sony PC companion since it become slow too. After flashing it worked. But after a day it is not working again.

Is this is a problem with mobile or OS?

Any help?

Hi Alexdon,

Thanks for your through out help.

I tried 'Factory Data Reset' on my mobile and guess what ? It worked for me, Widgets are shown flawlessly.

But when I install all the Apps back again, I faced the same issue of 'Unforunately, Widgets has been stopped'.

So I tried installing/ uninstalling one one app and see weather the Error exists.

And finally i found that the Error was causing because of Avast antivirals latest update. And I simply downgrade Avast to previous version. And now everything is working fine now.

Antiviruses kind of do what they want on your device,that is why I keep away from them.

So you will suggest me to Uninstall the Antivirus ? I that harmfull for my mobile ? Is really Viruses affects Android mobile as they built on Linux OS ?
