Anyone else have a yellow tint on their display?? I have it quite bad on the bottom of the display and both left and right hand edges of display running from top to bottom. Is it possible with a firmware update that this issue could be eliminated. J had read on one forum that ICS update SHOULD solve it. Something to do with the colour calibration. I have also heard that it could be to do with colour temperature of screen, or the glue that was used to put display together.
Any advice would be gladly appreciated as this is ruining my experience with this device.
Ramin, yeah the replacement was new, unlocked in an original box. I was advised originally to just send the handset without the back cover in a sealed jiffy bag.
Maybe because my case got escalated to the highest level it bypassed the usual process - the repair reference for example never updated to indicate the phone was replaced, I was only told over the phone by management.
I have been told that a battery cover has been included with my phone that should arrive tommorrow. I hope this to be the case, as I sent the battery cover off, because my last replacement I had from Sony I was unable to snap the cover tight shut on one right side of phone. This was due to there being a defect with the handset and not the battery cover itself.
That's not bad a bad price. I quite look the look of the roxifit shell casing which is made specifically for the Xperia S. I would add a link, but I am not near to a computer at present.
