BRAVIA 4K AE2 keeps rebooting

Bought BRAVIA 4K AE2 one week ago (Oct ‘24) and it keeps rebooting or freezing. Firmware is up to date, anything else I’m missing?

That is not a correct model number for a Sony TV, at least I think so.

Usually model numbers start with K or KD or XR, check the white label on the back of the TV,

or onscreen through Settings> Help & Feedback> Help.

 

Aside from that if your TV is only one week old and you are experiencing problems you should get in touch with the reseller and get them to replace the TV (like for like, new for new) or get a full refund, these are your consumer rights up to 30 days after purchase, check with Citizens Advice.

They may offer to send someone out to inspect and possibly repair, if they offer to repair I would still insist on a replacement.
