Bravia KDL-49WE753 very slow after 8.464 upgrade

Following recent upgrade to 8.464, the TV is now maddeningly slow to change channels. When you change channels there is 5 seconds of black screen (with sound) and then it can take up to 30 seconds for the banner to disappear.

This is a 3 year old TV which has been ruined by this latest updare! I want the TV I bought back.

Many thanks for your help. I’ve tried several power resets in the past, which have not solved the problem.
This time following your suggested link I’ve just done a factory reset and brilliant, I’ve got my old telly back!!!!

The banner now goes off after approx 8 seconds.
