KDL-40EX503 with old Sony Home Cinema slv av100?

Hi there

We treated ourselves to a new KDL-40EX503 at beginning of December and are loving it.

The Freeview HD,  the picture quality and now have the wii and AppleTV working with it.

All great.

A thought occurred to me. We still have our old Sony Home Cinema SLV AV100 video recorder with sub woofer and all the speakers. Could we use these two systems together? The SLV had an integrated amp which the KDL-40EX503 doesnt have.

Anyone know about this sort of stuff.

Would just be good to use exsiting equipment with a few cable add ons etc rather than investing in another system.

Support page is down in tha momant but for connection of Your devices I do not see problems. I will say use scart and select audio system in manu-setings-sound-speakers-audio system

Chose AV source on TV depend of scart in.
