i have purchased a bravia KDL 40NX713, mistakenly i used the serial number on the back of the tv, instead of the serial number on the box, which i later found out on the sony website is the serial number you need, shoul i contact the vat helpline? could anyone tell me if the serial number on the back of the tv is the same serial number on the box.
On my 37EX403 the 7-digit serial number xxxxxxx on the back of the TV is easier to find and is the same as the number embedded in S01-xxxxxxx-A, in the lowest of 4 bar-codes on a label on the box. Think you should be OK.
