I got an old Vaio PCG-FX301 from a friend. It seems to be still a nice one. However... I am used to touchpads which will (re)act on single and double click(s on the pad as being clicks on the left button. This is not the case with this touchpad. I checked the documentation which indeed only talks of moving (and scrolling) the cursur on the pad and use the underneath buttons for left and right clicking. So it seems to work as spec'd/documented.
Is there a way around and use the pad also as newer ones do? I searched the net but didot find any drivers or hints into this direction. Also in the 'system hardware info' the touchpad doesnot show up at all (at mouse etc.).
Any good ideas out there?
