Hi I have a vaio nw11s lap top which i am going to connect to an outdoor omni directional aerial to improve the wi-fi signal at the marina where my boat is . the aerial comes with a low loss cable which has a male and female end, i need to know where can i buy a patch lead to connect the cable to the vaio and will i plug straight into one of the usb ports? will the new aerial take over from the internal wi fi aerial automaticaly or will i need to make adjustment to the wi fi setting if so how ?
