sony vaio recovery error 320

hi, so basically i decided to recover my laptop by disc first which resulted in to and error on disc 4, so i could not finish recovery, which then i tried to recover using the assist button but get error 320 during recovery process anyone have any ideas what else i can try? thanks ash.

Hi Ash,

Error 320 usually indicates a problem with the recovery media.

You say that you have tried the Assist button - was this when the computer was fully shut down?

THanks for your reply rich, and yes I used the assist button when shut down and get error 305

Hi Ash,

This could indicate a problem with either memory modules or the HDD. If your notebook is still in warranty I suggest you contact Support.
