Please can you help, I recently bought a Sony VAIO SVS1311F3EW in replace of my Mac BookPro laptop. The screen quality is really poor, it seems to have an over all milky appearance. Adjusting the contrast does no justice, I have the contrast quite low to avoid hurting my eyes.
I have also calibrated the colour display and resolution settings have been set at its optimum. So all the internal obvious calibrations have been done but yet no avail. The laptop is fine when its sitting about two feet away from me, but thats no practical.
It has got to the stage where i have to wear my glasses constantly to use this laptop and I avoid using this laptop for audio, movies or webcaming. I prefer my mac to this :
The quality for display and audio sound is absolutely rubbish, extremely disappointed in my purchase. I was wondering whether anyone else experienced the odd quality for sony viao laptops.
Thank god ive kept my mac for entertainment!
